I began my journalism career as a student reporter. Within a year and a half, I rose to online managing editor and then editor-in-chief of Ball Bearings Magazine, a punnily named, student-run and award-winning magazine at Ball State University. 

As EIC, I oversaw the production of digital, online and print publications of Ball Bearings magazine, all while leading a staff of 15 members and over 50 student reporters. During my time at Ball Bearings, I created a new website from scratch, using a WordPress theme, then customizing through HTML. I also led the transition from Flash files to interactive InDesign files and DPS. Take a look at some of my print and digital work below.
